Can I use an SSD with a heatsink, like the Samsung 980 Pro with heatsink?
This dock isn’t compatible with SSDs that have built-in heatsinks. They’re usually too thick to fit.
Can I adjust the height or angle of the stand?
Nope! The stand is fixed—it doesn’t support height or tilt adjustments.
Can the ports on the iMac adapter (for 2021/2023/2024 iMac) charge devices or output video?
Actually, no. Those ports are designed only for data transfer and connecting M.2 SSDs. They won’t charge devices or send video.
Any tips for installing an SSD into the hub?
Yes! If you're adding your own SSD, make sure the thermal pad isn’t too thick—otherwise, the bottom plate might not close properly. Keep it slim!

This device is perfect for my 24 inch M3 iMac. The up front USB 3, USB C, and the SD card reader are very convenient. I also ordered a 1TB SSD with it and it works perfectly. Thank you PULWTOP
Le design est très bien, il fonctionne comme prévu. Le sel point négatif est le système de fixation sur le pied de l'iMac qui ne tient pas bien. Il est juste un peu petit et donc il ne se cimpse pas.

Integrated nicely with our iMac 24�� M3 model. Put in an SSD to act as a Time Machine backup and so far working flawlessly. Elegant way to expand the number of ports, plus the SSD functionality is terrific.
First off, it's very convenient. Three USB A ports, one of them 111gps. A 10G usb C thunderbolt port and an SD and a mini SD port. Right out front where it's easy to reach.
I also installed a 2tb SDD card inside. It works perfect and is quite nice.
The only downside is it's a little bit shaky when installed, not too much but enough I need to lay two hands on it when inserting a cable or drive.
All in all, I'd buy one again.
