Nice package, unpacking and installing was quite easy.
Color and the design fits excellent. Not much experience yet but the transfer rates for SD-cards are as expected (somehow 150 MB/s).
I give the 2021 iMac a well-deserved 5-star rating. Its an excellent choice for anyone seeking a powerful, aesthetically pleasing desktop computer. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and high-performance machine. You wont regret this investment!
I needed easier access to my USB ports & I also needed a solution for SSD storage. Ive wanted this for a long time and finally made the purchase.
1. The color match is impeccable.
2. I purchased a 2TB SSD to go with this. SSD install was a tiny bit confusing due to conflicting tutorials/how-to info on this item but for anyone who needs to know, the silicone strip sticks to the outer side of the SSD and to the screw-on plate. The instructions were confusing because they have tutorial videos that show the silicone strip on the inner/flat side of the SSD as well as other tutorials showing it on the outer side of the SSD card but it should be on the outer side. Also, i needed pliers to slide the securing nut into the little gap, then remove the screw, line up your SSD and screw it back together. Its incredibly tiny tho so sliding it into place with pliers may be helpful!
3. If youre wanting this to add flash storage, its so worth it. The speeds are much better than my previous HDD, and has made a huge difference in my efficiency as a video editor. It handles my large photo library with practically no lag as well.
Thank you so much! Perfect and beautiful docking station for my yellow iMac 24 M1 :)
