FAQ
Q1:How should I format my new SSD before using it with this hub?
A1: Please format your new SSD in "exFat" format before use
Q2:Do the USB-A ports on this hub support charging devices? Or are they only for data transfer?
A2: All USB-A ports ONLY support data transfer, DO NOT support charging and do not support CD readers, Apple SuperDrive
Q3:Why does this hub only have USB 2.0 ports instead of faster versions like USB 3.0 or higher?
A3: The design with ONLY USB 2.0 ports is to solve the issues of WiFi interference.
Q4:What happens if this product uses all HDMI and audio ports on the Mac Mini M4 and the hub at the same time? How do I set up the audio output correctly?
A4: Use all the HDMI and Audio ports of the Mac Mini M4 and the hub at the same time, ONLY pick the first one to work. Need to pre-set the audio output device, detailed setting steps refer to the product video on product description to know more.
Q5:If this product uses all data ports at the same time, will the transmission speed be affected?
A5: As all the ports share the 10Gbps bandwidth, the transfer speed cannot reach the maximum value of each port when all data ports are used simultaneously.

Ive been using this dock for nearly two weeks now, and honestly, the performance is amazing! Its a perfect companion for the Mac mini M4, both in terms of design and functionality.
Easy to setup and install works well didnt need to do anything extra plug and play and the SSD was easy it took me a while because I have big hands to mess with the screws ??but thats just me but other than that everything was good
I recently upgraded my setup with a Mac mini M4 Dock that includes a 4TB M.2 SSD, and it has been a fantastic addition to my workstation. The dock not only expands the connectivity of my Mac mini but also delivers extremely fast storage performance. The 4TB SSD gives me more than enough space for large files, backups, and media projects, and the read/write speeds are impressively quick.
Perfect, straight out the box. Simple set up including chip installation and fully up and running in about 5 minutes. No impact on wi-fi signal at all and quality look and feel.
I had one of these for my former target M1 MacMini. I recently both the M4 and needed this because the machine was so much smaller. This base fit perfectly and was plug & play (no software or driver needed). It provides USB-A ports which the M4 does not have. I also added aa 2Tb chip to it and use it for Time Machine backup. It all works together like the part that Apple forgot to build. Totally satisfied.

This is a great product - no Wi-Fi issues
This is a really cool addition to our Mac mini. it so easy to add or interchange SSDs and uniquely provides a nice compact upgrade to the computer. Highly recommend it.
This base is the perfect fit for my Mini Mac. It plugged right in and work perfect right out of the package. I love the space for the button on the bottom of the Mini Mac.
This is a great addition to the Mac Mini. Plenty of additional ports and the SSD slot is a huge bonus so you don't have to have drives just hanging off randomly.

Nicely complements my Mac Mini and provides the necessary ports I needed to for my purposes. I have not, at least not yet, used its ability to contain a solid state HD.
REALY NICE
I feel it's an excellent dock that significantly enhances the usability of the Mac mini.
Works Great
Great product and works nicely. One thing to notice that, contrary to the product manual, it does not come with "rubber holders" for the SSD. Instead, you are supposed to slide the little metal holder into the slots to fix the SSD at the other end. See the picture on Amazon.
I got this because of the low internal storage of my Mac Mini. So far so good - the heat from the SSD seems to be dissipated well and the unit has a nice footprint. Easy to reach the power button on the mini. The USB may only be 2.0 but it's still great for things like the keyboard. I really like the built in SD and Mini SD card slots.
Great product. It extends my M4 perfectly both in looks and functionality. I can now reach the power button easily and my ergonomic keyboard and camera (both with USB-A connectors) works without a problem connected to the hub

Connection is simple: just plug in two USB-C cables to the back, and you immediately gain access to an SSD slot, HDMI, DisplayPort, card reader, and USB-A ports. M.2 SSDs are recognized quickly, and the aluminum casing effectively dissipates heat, ensuring stable operation.
Dual monitor output works without any problems, and the easy access to the power button is a subtle but convenient feature.
The dock was easy to install. I really like the SD card port. The SSD card was also easy to install. I only put in 1TB because that's how much storage I needed.
This dock is designed to sit underneath the Mac mini M4, and its appearance is so seamlessly integrated that it could easily be mistaken for an official Apple product, resulting in a very clean and tidy desk setup.
