This is a great highly functional tool to help reduce my desktop clutter. But, first one minor caveat: Note that while this vertical stand can be used with the older 2023 Mac mini as stated in the product description, it is not useable as a stand for newer thicker 2024 M4 Mac mini (see photo 3 here). That said, it is a great tool for laptop users. First, unlike other vertical stands I��ve used, there��s no need to fuss with adjusting for different laptop widths. The pliable rubberized base bends down to change the angle of the stand��s sides to fit the laptop��s width. Second, the hub has a lot of ports! I have a GaN charger plugged into the USB-C PD port to deliver power to the laptop. There is a LCD display plugged into the hub��s HDMI port. And, there is a 4K webcam (higher resolution than my laptop��s integrated camera) plugged in to. Third, I bought a 1 TB M.2 NVMe 2280 solid state drive and installed it into the stand��s SSD enclosure. The stand��s kit includes a small magnetic screwdriver and extra screws and an extra rubber support. You can see in my last photo that the 1TB drive I bought provides 931GB of useable space. I formatted as exFAT so it is compatible across operating systems. So, instead of having three objects on my desk surface - a vertical stand, a USB-C hub, and a external drive, I just have this one multifunction tool on the desk. It really helps reduce clutter and cables. The braided USB-C cable in the kit to connect the hub to the laptop is about 30 inches long. And since the USB-C port to connect to the laptop is more or less in the center of the stand, it can be easily used with laptops regardless on which side its USB-C port is on.
This dock ended up working out great for my set up. I use my MacBook for editing videos for product reviews, and other channel things.
The amount of plugs on the back are super handy and I even put a M.2 SSD in it and it works perfectly
Purchased for my 2023 Mac Mini and it fit nicely. Ports of all kinds are a must have today. I've noted that the stand came in Space Gray. Made of metal and can fit your Macbook or Mac Mini. Comes with usb-c cable for Host hookup.

I have three of these docks on different operating systems. I��ve installed SSDs for backups. One of the docks stopped working after the Amazon return period had expired. The matter was easily resolved with excellent support from the seller. High quality and value for the price make this docking station an ideal choice.
